^ I would use stronger language but since it's the lounge, bugger Facebook! My profile picture is a flower. People who put too much on Facebook about how great their life is are probably trying to prove something and not really showing the reality, or that's the feeling I get anyway.
You are full of worth and value.

Been feeling really low these past few days deflated and sad.

I could really do with hibernating.

Not a good day, I lost one of my molly fish. not even a year old I know she was just a fish and losing my cat Jazz will be much harder but I do get attached to animals, whatever their size.

Just finished watching a film which cheered me up a bit.

I'm so sorry to hear that you lost molly fish. Like you say, it doesn't matter what size they are, our pets quickly become much loved members of the family and bring us such a lot of comfort and enjoyment. When my beloved budgie died, many moons ago, I wept buckets and didn't think I'd ever love a pet in the same way again (but of course I did).

I'm glad the film cheered you up a little

Please don't judge me, but no . I'm bang on time with fresh bed sheets on a Sunday night, but didn't even think about doing it yesterday. I don't even care, which is bad I know :/

Sorry about your fish, Kelly

Sending you hugs, Nanuq

^ I have an appointment with the Dentist on Wednesday too and am also dreading it.
Are you fearing having to socially interact with the Dentist or is it the fear of discomfort or pain that a physical procedure in your mouth may entail? Or even sitting in the waiting room beforehand (which is something I hate)?

Good luck anyway newbs. Hopefully it won't be as horrid as you fear

Feeling paranoid I’ve breathed in asbestos dust at work. The troubling thing is that I won’t know if it’s had an effect for at least 10 years or so.

And yet some people bizarrely think Health & Safety has ‘gone too far’.

I feel paranoid about us removing some Artex from my sister's ceiling in the Changing Rooms days. It's a worry.

I think unions need reviving (as long as they don't go TOO FAR as things always do) but I'm old school. Stuff like zero hours contracts and crazy shifts can affect people's health indirectly, but no one employer would ever be responsible.

I hope you have nothing to worry about choirgirl.

Yes I agree some unions have been controversial and maybe go too far, but it does feel like many people have absolutely no support with workplace issues. For that reason I’d like to see more unionism (if that’s the word). Especially with the increase of poor working conditions (*cough* Amazon *cough*) and nothing being done about it.

I should perhaps rephrase my comment about Health & Safety. Of course, some things go a bit far (though not as much as people think, and exaggerated by media). I should have said it’s people who think ‘Health and Safety should be scrapped’ and such things which I think I bizarre.

I meant the unions went too far, but I really think some old school labour movement stuff needs to happen.

^^It was in our old house, it may have been in the Artex. Thanks Tembo.

I had a tumble sorting the braces on my trousers so I could put them on.Hit my head on the wall. Told my (s) daughter. She phoned the GP for advice, and was told to phone 111. She did that when she got to me. I had to answer some questions. We were told if 111 didn't get back to us within 30 minutes an ambulance would be sent out to check on me. That was early afternoon . My s/daughter stayed with me till 9.30. She cancelled the ambulance just before she left , as the main problem was pain in my upper left leg but I can weight bear. Was told a clinician may still phone. They have my s/daughters mobile number.

Awful. Been sleep deprived for days (if not weeks) due to noise issues. Can't concentrate and keep typing wrong things. My fingers are so shaky, and my speech is slurred.
