You can use a car foot pump to inflate a bicycle tyre. Not only is it faster, the pressure gauge tells you exactly how much air you are pumping into it.

That a strike to the clitoris can be as equally painful as a strike to the testicles. And here I was thinking that only male genitalia was excruciatingly sensitive to pain.

That Japan has a vending machine for so many things, bananas, alcohol, ice cream, full meals that you can cook there and then cause the vending machine has a built in microwave, even gloves and umbrellas
Japan really is something else haha, all we get here is fizzy drinks, crisps and chocolate in vending machines, in Japan you can live off food you get into vending machines! |

^ I've seen a GoT vending machine that dispenses characters from the show. I put money in it, wanted my fave GoT character, but nothing came out. The machine was out of Hodor.

Windows 10 is a blatent, we screwed up but are going to pretend it was planned. They should never have tried to make an os that works for both small touchscreen devices and standard office pcs. I dont mind 10, although in terms of supporting it there are now ways to do any 1 thing which is really confusing. Like adding new hardware, they left in the "add remove hardware" from recent windows, they also left in the new windows 8 charms way, plus the device manager from the old versions, and some new way which I havent got to grips with. It shall cause confusion I tell thee. I reckon it will end up in a situation like macs where you have to know what version you have , 10.01, 10.02, 10.03 in order to see if a program will install. I guess it is fine if you blindly update to the newest version whenever microsoft tells you, which is probably the aim so they dont have to support old versions. |

Couples who have been happily married for a long time, usually by the time they reach their 60s have similar wrinkles on their face from their shared experiences as they use the same facial muscles to make expressions which makes them look more alike.

Re: What didn't you know until recently?
That Castrato is a type of classical male singing voice. In order to create the type of voice, which is unusually high pitched, males would be castrated before they hit puberty, hence the name.
There are only a few recordings throughout history, as the practice, for obvious reasons declined rapidly during the late 19th century. Here is a recording by Alessandro Morsechi, perhaps the best known Castrato singer. He was in his 50's when this recording was made. It's quite eerie, to be honest. |

Re: What didn't you know until recently?
People who are lonely are more susceptible to illness, not just mentally but things like coughs and colds, too dumb to remember the whole bit of my book i read. Supposedly its to do with cortisol and the brains reaction to stress, if someone was caring for their sick partner by themselves then no matter how they try, it will cause them health problems, it can cause their biological age to be higher than their chronological age. If someone was caring for a sick partner however and they had people also helping and supporting them then they can avoid the health problems. They have also proven that those in a happy relationship can prolong a terminally ill partners life expecgtancy by years, conversely those in an unhappy stressful one will deteriorate faster. This books been really interesting but i wish i was a bit more intelligent as a few bits here and there i struggle to grasp but i constantly feel brain dead thanks to my job.

Re: What didn't you know until recently?
That feeling when you're convinced that a person who died recently, or are still alive, died a long time ago actually has a name: The Mandela Effect. There's a subreddit about it, which I am reading through.
