Christmas gift idea exchange thread
Post here to give inspiration to us posters who need ideas in buying gifts for the ones we love..
Okay, that's the PR bit out the way, i need to buy for my Dad, brother, sis-in-law, 2 y/o niece, baby nephew and my Grandad ... and i'm leaving it a bit late, especially as i've barely thought about it. I don't really know who they are and lack the patience to trawl through the internet in an effort to buy the appropriate presents. So far i'm thinking this for my sis-in-law: yes, LED candles that change color and stuff. I reckon she'd like em Okay, please share |

Re: Christmas gift idea exchange thread
Maybe you could get your dad a cookbook as he seems to constantly bugger recipes up

Re: Christmas gift idea exchange thread
It would be wasted on him, he likes to make his own creations. We have enough of those as it is anyway, no one uses them. |

Re: Christmas gift idea exchange thread
Those candles are a much safer alternative than regular candles I bet they will be be much appreciated
What about buying a nice photo frame and getting a picture put in ! I always feel grandparents really like gifts like this. Perfume is also great and Places like "bodycare and home bargains" do cheap ones. |

Re: Christmas gift idea exchange thread
I'm going for the most ambitious Christmas I've ever had. I'm getting my parents a new TV. I've never gone for something so pricey before, but they are at home most of the time and the current TV is aging a bit. It's possible to get a really good one for around 400 quid too. I'm being generous and practical. They better like it

^ Oooh very nice ! I bet your parents will really appreciate it! Especially when they get to watch all the rubbish Christmas programmes they put on Christmas Day on a new tv

^ I've been corner counting ever since you had that win!
Okay, i'm looking at buying a cheap weekend getaway for my Dad and his gf, but aren't sure of the reliability of the site i'm currently looking into: has anyone any firsthand experience of this sort of gift? |
