I love music from the 80s, I have some of the old vinyl records from this period. My favourite is livin on prayer by Bon Jovi.

It was released in 1986, I wasn’t even born then, even the eurythmics are really good for me the 80’s had some of the best music.

What an absolute stonker. Obviously i'd heard of the early 00's remixes ...? Whatever they were, usually as sound bites for adverts, etc.

It was used in a Lynx advert that was on all the time about 10-15 years ago, that's how I know it. Funky tune, but not enough to convince me to buy their deodorant and smell like a 14 year old.

^ Tis a good'un, no doubts. I've been listening to Absolute 80s quite a bit recently.





^ That one i've loved for ages. It was re-released back in the early 90s for some reason and i remember it playing quite a bit back then.

I've been enjoying this alternative, 'reggae' take of Start Me Up for quite a while. It's really pretty good - better than the original in some respects.

I don't know how to embed a video but it was so great for me finally seeing Belinda Carlisle last month and hearing her first solo single "Mad About You" live.

That vocal is sooo good. Sails along beautifully. Guitars awesome. What a song. Only reached #6 here in the UK ... ! Wtf. Can anyone show me what was ahead of it at the time?

First time i've heard this today. The 'heyo ma ma ma' got my ears pricked up, completely unexpected and instantly recalling the Dario G song from the 90s. Such a bizarre turn in the song as it comes from nowhere.
