First therapy session tomorrow. The letter they sent came with a printout of a google map with a particular building marked up. I know the building (it's the library) but there isn't a specific address or room number or anything. I don't know if it's in the library building or just the same street or what.

I get really worked up about stuff like that. I need to know exactly where I'm going, what the building looks like, where the doors are, where I'm going to park etc. Google Street View can be very helpful in that way but it's not always that easy.

Hope it goes OK.

^Thats the thing, where the pin is on the map it couldn't be any building other than the library and museum but that just seems weird, and there's nothing that says it's held there. I might have to phone when I get there.

Watched the first two episodes of Game of Thrones lastnight. I was NOT disappointed. Its was bloody good. I didn't know whether to sh*t or go blind. (happiness)

Peeps on here that were telling me about the serious amount of Bumage in the program were not exaggerating.

Where did it turn out to be, and how did it go?

It was in the library, there was a sort of classroom upstairs. I had to ask at the desk, tried to be subtle about it but they were being difficult ("Hi, do you know if there's a meeting taking place here today?" "I'll just check… is it, like, a business meeting?" "No, it's… something else…" "What kind of meeting is it?" It's a group therapy session, I'm going because I can't function as part of the world. Satisfied now?)

Still not sure if I belong there or how it's going to go but it wasn't too bad so I might as well stick with it.

And I agree about how great street view is. When I went to Chicago I knew exactly how to get to my hotel from the subway station before I even went. Still didn't stop me walking west instead of east for about 4 blocks when I got there but still, was easily sorted.

^^ Depends whether you think you'll go often or not. A lot of people spend lots of money on gym memberships (which are usually minimum 6+ months) and then barely go. I've been guilty of this before as I felt too self conscious exercising in front of people But if you think you'll go then go for it

^^^ Entity, I think for me, going to the gym and having something long term to work on helped me through alot dark times.

It's ever so rewarding, but be careful of contracts that you can't get out of etc. The buzz you get is great.

I'm glad this forum is here. Even though I don't have anyone to talk to a lot of the time I can still put my thoughts here and try to get conversations going with people.

Fuzz it! I'm joining a gym! There's one in my area that's only £12.99 a month, with no contract. It'll be a good way of meeting new people, too.

^ Good for you, Entity! £12.99 a month certainly isn't a bad price either, compared to most.

thinking about my job i've been there for nearly 3 months, my original agency contract was for 3 months they've talked about me going permanent for them but i'd have to go through an interview and be up against 5 other applicants. feels like my lifes turned around in the last 3 months found a place i feel comfortable in don't feel stressed about money and the security has been nice. think i'd be pretty pissed off if i didn't get the job and had to move on. was told today by my team leader the jobs going to be posted soon. done my best it's up to them now.

One of my neighbours, I think 'guy that tells me jokes and calls me dude' was hoovering at 6:45 this morning. Who hoovers at 6.00 in the morning?!

I had to (kinda obligated to) baby sit his dog the other night while he went to hospital. His dog has abandoment issue... and howls like a sod after he leaves the house. What with the woman downstairs trying to evict him cause of his dog, she would NOT have been happy with the dog sounding off at 11.00 at night. SO I obliged and sat there playing his ps3 thinking, Am I actually baby sitting a dog?

Why dont I know any normal people? lol

@Biscuits I'm sure you weren't ever "fat", maybe they didn't know what to say and were just being polite or at least trying? or maybe their idea of fat isn't a healthy one. At my nans funeral my mums friends husband was talking to my mum and told him how id lost quite a bit of weight to which he said to me "oh didn't you manage to keep it off?" which kind of pissed me off considering i was like 12.5 stone or something, hardly fat really, maybe he still saw me as fat because he was thin as a rake and tall with it.

@BFG Good luck with the job , hope you get it especially if its helped you feel less stressed etc.

Wondering how much longer its gonna take till i can breath normally again and actually get a reasonable amount of sleep, i hate coughs and colds .

My parents have tasked me with finding a villa in Portugal for when they take me away in September and I've just found a windmill. A windmill. I've a feeling they won't be fussed, but I may as well give up my search now. Nothing's gonna beat a windmill.

^ It's so cool! Yep, you're in. You had me at chips and ice-cream. It's only two bedroom though so you'll have to make do with the hammock in the roof:

As I suspected, the parents aren't keen (too far from the beach, too far from the town bla bla), so I'll be throwing intermittent tantrums this weekend until I get my way. Failing that, blackmail.
