Hello...
howdy
I've joined for some moral support. I've suffered with anxiety and depression for most of my life but only sought meds in the last couple of years. My mother was drugged to the eyeballs on Prozac and Vallium whilst I was growing up so a fear of ending up like her made me not want to take them. I somehow manage to work in an office and management know that public speaking is a big no no so they're very supportive in that respect. It means though that I can't progress in the way I thought I'd be able to :-/ I'm in my second round of long term therapy and to anyone who wants it but can't afford it, try finding a counselling charity. Their therapists are often highly qualified and they'll consult with you first in order to place you with the right person. Looking forward to sharing stories and offering support where I can.
