Default Gym routine making me feel better

Ive recently started going to the gym (even though I hate it) on a fairly regular basis, if not daily.

Its making me feel much better about myself. I don't have any specific aims or goals, but I just want to feel more disciplined in my life.

I'm really hoping that in time, I will push some boundaries, such as talking to a complete stranger.

I usually attend classes or just use the equipment.

I remember during the three years I was lifting weights. I did a lot of research into the excerises and took creatine and all my lifts went up. Then this past year I became depressed and lost 20 some pounds. I tried going to the gym two weeks ago with my little cousin and he could do more reps than me.

I don't think lifting weights is worth it.

^ I semi agree with you. Lifting isn't a waste of time, but the minute you stop lifting your gains, particularly strength gains, deminish quite quickly. That's sort of why I'm switching to calisthenics. Hype.

I like classes that are fun. I feel really lonely at the gym sometimes, and uninspired.

I fee; like it would be nice to strike up a conversation with someone but its nigh on impossible. Everyone seems in their own little world.

Yeah people feel a bit self conscious so it's not really the time at the machines or weights, a class is different though focus on the classes.
