I'm New!

Hello. I'm new to this site. I found out about it from a person on the ocd uk site. I also have obsessive compulsive disorder and generalised anxiety disorder.

I have been shy all my life, however my therapist has now diagnosed it as social anxiety. I find it hard to make friends, because I am so shy and therefore don't live my life to the full. I would rather hide away at home, because I am scared of what people will think of me. I hope I will find some comfort here, talking to people who are like me.

Well done for coping with SA and OCD it must be hard.My Mum has OCD and I was brought up around it so I know what its like.She thinks that I have it too, but I'm not sure. If I have it's only mild.
