Glad to do it
Yes, I too have learned to try and keep my focus in front of me!

Sweet of you to ask how I am doing Herb
I am doing better than ever thanks for asking! I do have occasional anxiety but when I do I TEA form about whatever is causing the problem and usually get right back on track now

How are you doing?

Tried CBT for me it was a total waste of time. They didnt want to know what the cause was it was all about focusing on the here and now rather than getting to the root of the problem. Telling me to do things i cant do. The thearapist told me to find a big supermarket wait till it was at its busiests and go in and just stand in the largest crowd i could find and just stand there for at least an hr every day. I told her can i start in a smaler shop and work my way up. She said nope do it the way i say or i wont see u anymore. So off i went i didnt even get in the door before i started throwing up and i got banned from going back lol. Told the therapist and all she said was ok dont bother coming back CBT for u is over goodbye. I have a spine defect as well so cant stand up for more than 20 mins so standinf for an hr in the shop was impossible for me to do anyway. Tried to tell her that but she wouldnt listen. The supermarket she told me to go to was right at the exsteme range of my traveling distance as well. So was in a lot of pain by the time i got there. I was about ready to pas out just from the pain of getting there there let alone standing there for an hr then getting back home. The shop is 5 miles from where i live and i struggle to get to the shop at the end of my road lol. she did see me at my GP surgery which is the closest to where i live and i struggle to get there. So how she excpected me to go 5 miles beats me.

Wow that seems a really bad experience. I had cbt and we spoke about my past, I see some of you in above posts say that they don't, but in my cbt they did, I was referred there by doctor and the therapist said I was on a cbt course.
