Re: Anyone Else Shake When Speaking?
Yes, I shake when I speak to people in authority like my boss or when I speak in front of a large group of people. :embarass: I can't breathe so eventually I end up running out of air and speaking really fast.

Re: Anyone Else Shake When Speaking?
its quite common for people with SA as are other physical effects such as upset stomache, dry mouth , head shake, trembly hand etc.
In the cases I've heard of it never went away by thinking about it .It always went away automatically once the person had become more confident and less SA. Some people are helped by mild meds such as betablockers. |

Re: Anyone Else Shake When Speaking?
I shake, i feel as though I'm cold whenever I'm talking to people I'm not familiar with or waiting to go somewhere.

Re: Anyone Else Shake When Speaking?
I do whenever I have to speak in front of a large group; I'm guessing 5 people or more. But, sometimes it can happen at a family meal too. My worst experience was when I went to a support group and we all had to introduce ourselves to the group; I thought I was going to collapse and could only tell everyone my name.

Re: Anyone Else Shake When Speaking?
Shake, sweat, stutter, feel extremely hot even if it's winter, anxiety attacks.
All of these happen to me when i'm outside or near strangers, anxiety attacks are fortunately less frequent than the others. But i shake/swear/stutter and feel hot all the time when I'm outside. |
