Can't sleep :(

Despite taking some Lorazepam, I can’t sleep a wink.
I’m feeling extremely panicky, very scared and a degree of anger too.
I feel very much alone at 3:18 in the morning

Thanks Flumps and Mo In the end the parcel wasn't delievered (it will tomorrow, so I have a whole day and night of anxiety yet. YAY) Also I didn't end up meeting the therapist, I didn't confirm it in an email so that's happening in another 2 weeks now.

In fact i didn***8217;t manage a single wink, thanks to endless worrying and fretting, and am unsurprisingly feeling horrendous this morning. Consequently, I***8217;m going to have to let someone who means everything to me down today which makes me feel even worse about my pathetic self

I was woken up by this strange noise outside going "screech clunk screech clunk screech clunk"
It turned out to be this crazy-ass train on the railway with a big mechanical claw underneath, it would move forward a metre, smash its claw into the rail bed around the rails and repeat. Then it stopped just outside my house. I hope they've finished now.

I have spells of insomnia every now and then and I know how hard it can be getting through the day when you are absolutely shattered.

I'm trying mindfulness exercises before bed and sleep hypnosis stuff on YouTube for when I do get to sleep. I have found this a little helpful.
