Wonder how different my life would have been if I didn't have a rubbish stomach all the time. I feel like I'm a big let down and when people try to arrange things I'm useless.

Totally saw a bit of drug dealing just now. Guy on a bike crosses the road over to another guy and they surreptitiously palm something between them. And there I was, a few yards behind, walking back from the shops with a bottle of squash in my hand. Eee, I'll never have any street cred at this rate.

^ Excellent work

So taking the dog out didn't go too well - we got there and she just wasn't willing at all, she kept turning back toward the car and i gave up in the end. Wasted journey.

The utter futility of human existence, basically. I really need to think less and relax more.

I bought a vintage hatchet for cutting up lemons on ebay.
But it turned out to be a real antique lime axe.

Think that's pretty common these days. No one seems to take much notice. It's odd really cause if you saw someone being mugged you might intervene or do something but drugs, meh.
And look at the people they're buying it from!? Why would you trust someone who only seems to own one dirty track suit with your health? I don't get it.

Doing Kitchen Portering I've met hard working people but people who also don't do their job properly. I'm too slow when it comes to being a KP, although I do clean my pots and pans well, but I mean people who take shortcuts and don't clean the place properly.

I've came to the conclusion that most people don't like their jobs or their heart isn't in it. You can argue it gives structure, and it does, however from experience doing jobs I hate it's almost like a job you hate can be a distraction, something that makes you feel life is okay when you truly aren't satisfied with it.

Mobile phone usage on the shop or office floor can be quite a serious health and safety issue if worded correctly. If they worked for me, They would be given their P45. Everyone is replaceable and a formal complaint would be used as toilet paper.

Who even uses WhatsApp anymore?!?

Start my new job tomorrow. The workforce are going to HATE me.

I think the business has quite a few issues. One of them being that one of the owners wants to run the staff as a family, he wants to feel a bond with people and to trust them and like them, but then gets upset if they are not doing the job properly. If he simply employed people based on their capability and kept things professional these issues wouldn't exsist. He lets far too much slide, so when he enforces something, the kids sulk.

Yes, I hate to think how they will cope when they get real a job with a proper company.

Good luck with the new job , sod the workforce.

Looking over the last several comments got me thinking about personality traits (as in ones you're born with). Mr Heavy here is clearly very high in conscientiousness/industriousness, I could do with some of those genes being activated.

By what you have said about them so far, I doubt they would ever be able to get a real job. They seem to be entitled little ****tard millennials. Sack them all and make them taste the real world

That's a nice way of calling me a C4nt
Money is money, Business is business. I work to earn money, I don't go to work to make friends or anything like that. If I wasn't making the business money, I would expect to be sacked. With my old business, If somebody wasn't working to the standards set, They'd get sacked. Simple. Everyone is replaceable. I can replace any member of staff within 48 hours.

First day at work. The workforce HATE me

^ Yeah, I think if CBT is even going to help me at all, I would need a lot more than 6 sessions for sure. I mean, it's not as if the world is without conflict and genuine rejection in some cases. It did help me slightly just reading about CBT and considering that some of these things might be a bit irrational/warped. Emotion can certainly do that and I'm conscious of it for sure, but it's just very hard to control.

Nomansland - that feeling between leaving the security of your old ways behind, but not yet feeling comfortable in your new ways. The old ways frequently try to pull you back, but you have to just ride it out and stick with the insecurity until it feels more natural. This applies to everybody, but throw a good dose of social anxiety disorder to the mix and the challenge becomes 100 times more difficult.
