Rather trapped and hopeless.
My plans to end my relationship have been scuppered by not having somewhere to go to.
My mum has said she doesn't really want me to move back home and I don't have anyone else I could stay with, so I guess I'm going to have to grin and bear it for a while longer.

Today i feel annoyed with myself.

I think and think and then worry a bit too much and finally, after stressing about something for ages i give in and say its not worth bothering, i will just stay at home again and let others down.

My mood has been up down and all over the place. I think being confined to home a lot (with my neighbour), plus getting to know some of the ppl I volunteer with better - listening to there stories about this and that in their life has just made me feel quite hopeless for the future. Never having a home, never being part of a family again etc etc.. I then swing back to being alright ish again

Also listening to some service users at work who have better quality of life than I do in some respects - you can't help but think why am I doing this job? hey ho.

The heat doesn't help either. Though I went for a walk this afternoon round the partially opened RSPB reserve near me. Which was lovely in cool woodland.

Well I've got another month or so of being furloughed. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Even though it's a "crap job" my company have actually been pretty great, and pretty understanding of my situation living with someone shielding.

It's also weird with me being a manager. I feel like I'm letting my team down not being there, and worry they think less of me. But I've been medically advised not to return there yet. Urh.

^ I think most people understand how serious the virus can be for people who are shielding, I'm sure people at your work don't think you're letting anyone down.

Last night I went to bed hot and this morning I woke up hot. I don't like it. Not to mention the hayfever is pretty bad right now, I had to take a tablet as soon as I woke up to stop me from scratching my eyes to pieces.

We've had the coronavirus lockdown, now I fear the summer lockdown, where you don't even want to leave your house to get food because of the horrible scorching weather out there. Meanwhile, other people are in their highest delight over the heat and light.

Also I have broken my big fan. Well I knocked it slightly and now it has a big crack in one of the propellers, or maybe it already did. Well it still works, I just don't know if it will break at some point.

Well, sadly, it seems likely Elvis the pony may have to be put to sleep. He has an infection after his surgery, but it's pretty bad. There going to give him 2 more days to try and see if it will improve but after that....

At least Thelma was in her late 20's and slipped a way quietly with Louise with her.
Elvis is only about 9

And he had an awful start in life, he was found abandoned at the side of an A road in a right old state. No one can visit him at the hospital either because of covid.

Feeling quite calm and focused in recent days, I think it might be the omega3 EPA capsules I've been taking - but yeah definitely feel more calm and less distracted by painful thoughts and emotions.

^ Well it's backed up by science - the omega3 known as 'EPA' is a natural anti-depressant. It helped me previously but hit a point where I got really bad all of a sudden. I think this time it's different due to the mirtazepine blocking some serotonin receptors that may have been overactive to cause the reaction previously.

It's bizzare, but I feel so much better - still unhappy - but not dramatically miserable or suicidal like I otherwise would be. I felt like I could experience positive emotions again, and the only side effect seems to be increased focus

It's 750mg EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and 250mg DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). I was also taking the recommended 3 a day for depression but 1 seems to be doing the trick. It just seems to have a mood stabilising effect in me - it's used in the brain to support brain function somehow. I felt like my ability to experience pleasurable emotions were gone and was just feeling irritated a lot with high blood pressure and chest pains, all of which were treated somewhat. I just feel more balanced.

A bit more positive. I went to sanctuary today expecting to hear the worst about Elvis.
Anyhoo apparently after x raying him again they took him back into surgery as the plate and screws in his shoulder are still in and intact. So they've stripped away the infection surgically and have put in another drain. Strapped him again and put a collar on this time from the get go.

So.....at least there is some hope, or at least another chance.

a bit silly but also like i've actually achieved something which is rare. i'd been constantly doing week one and putting off week two of the couch to 5k as only having a minute walk in between 90 second runs felt too much for me but turns out its two minutes, i could have been so much further along now if i'd read it properly. still happy i've done it even if it is a little delayed.
