I went to see my parents today, first time in a few months :embarass: nice clear motorway surprisingly, but peoples driving is really starting to scare me, there are loads of maniacs on the road and I wonder how the hell did they pass their tests!

I went to a food festival today - loads of yummy stuff to eat and drink and I'm now huge. Extra swimming tomorrow to make amends.

Today drove my Mum to the doctors first thing (she's not allowed to drive for a month because of her minor stroke). Then took her to M&S, she had to take some stuff back. Had a cup of tea and a toasted teacake at their cafe, then bought a few bits of food and Mum bought a dress and top. That took all morning, got back in time for most of Loose Women. Then a neighbour rang the bell and asked me how my Mums doing so talked to him for a bit. Not really got any plans for the rest of this afternoon. My bro's gone to Wales this morning on 'Activities Week' with his mates...more like getting pissed week, so the house is pretty quiet without him. Don't have to pick him up from school though for a few days which is good.

I woke up about ten because I didnt get to sleep gone three. Lay there for a half-hour before getting up in a vain attempt to shut the world out . After that I made a phone call and went to pick up a job application form for a local driving job. Now I have to fill that out.

After a mad run of appointments met including the stressful ones like into town, I avoided the easiest one, just up the road to the optician, feeling pretty annoyed with myself, cleaning the carpets with my feet!

Decided to watch a movie got 20 minutes in then got bored, so great day overall

Day started off exactly the same as yesterday which gave me creepy dejavu feeling. Took Mum to doctors again, then went to M&S. Weird, we rarely visit either. And each day we've been on the dual carriageway, just as the trains gone over our heads. It felt like groundhog day. Anyway this afternoon my Mums friend came over for lunch so sat and had lunch with them, she's just left now. This evening going to see a show in town which we won tickets too. Will be the first time I've ever driven in a major city so hope that goes ok.

Went to work, got embarassed cos I saw someone I recognise from karate there. Went to karate & they made us do lots of advanced kata which I hated cos it's not my strong point & I'd never come accross most of them before. (One day I will master the Bassai Dai!)

However, when we got to the self-defence I was goooood - as well as blocking we learned vulnerable point & sleep-holds - fun but VERY painful to be on the receiving end!

Bozrena -Went to karate & they made us do lots of advanced kata which I hated cos it's not my strong point. Messed up the quote marks lol.

I used to hate that at Karate too. I remember having to learn loads of kata before each belt grading and it was so hard to remember it all in order. Luckily when you have people next to you doing it, you can kinda get the feel of what they're doing when you get forgetful. I only got up to green belt though, took up too much time when I was doing GCSE's. Have you done any belts yet? I remember the grading took hours and hours as we used to have to watch each group do theirs. Had any karate injuries yet?

Have fun at Glasto T-Meister!!! I'm very jealous, would love to see Amy Winehouse if she actually turns up.
