A lot of the charity Christmas cards are a complete rip off and the charities get almost nothing. Keep an eye out for those.

I'm not sure it was just a tesco one. It's heck of a roundup though, usually you just round up if its ABOVE 50p, not like 33p.

^ they round it up to the nearest paaahnd and ask for that as a donation. It normally has the charity on there. British Red Cross, I think at the moment. It only seems to do it at the little Tesco and not the big one, I've noticed. Or perhaps it only does it when you purchase a few things rather than after a weekly shop.

That's his personal choice. The truer mark of altruism, as displayed by TD,P, would be to expect nothing in return for the donation. They can then make extra money by selling the magazine to someone who would like it. I'm sure if they don't want the money they have the choice to reject it.

I don't live in a city, but when I go to the city I buy a hot drink or sandwich, or something from Greggs if there is one near by.

I've raised £750 for a mental health charity in the past by completing the Three Welsh Peaks Challenge.

I tend to only give to charity when I want to and only when I feel a strong connection to the cause. I don't like being stopped and asked to donate to things on the street or at my door.

I'm considering doing one of those Facebook fundraisers for my next birthday for Alzheimer's research as my aunty has the disease.
