Strange film from the 70s about a young man who starts working at a public bath?!? Didn't people have baths in their homes in the 70s? But anyways Jane Asher was sooooooooooooooooooooo sexy in this |

Olympus Has Fallen 4/10 - stupid plot, very unbelievable. It seems like this film was designed for patriotic xenophobic Americans.

The Worlds End 7/10 - wasn't bad, no Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz but had funny moments and little bits thrown in to remind fans of other Edgar Wright stuff.

The Wind That Shakes the Barley - 8/10
Drama about the Irish War of Independence and the early days of the subsequent Irish Free State. Been meaning to watch this for years and it didn't disappoint. |

Re: Rate the last film you watched (4)..
Moon 9/10 .....Really liked it,very underrated film. Oblivion copied parts of it and is not as good.
Elysium 7.5/10.... Pretty good action sci-fi from the makers of District 9, prob best watched at the cinema rather than small screen DVD. Has Jodie Foster in it...whenever i saw her i expected her to talk like she did in silence of the lambs. Contagion 7.5/10 .... Quite scary knowing this could actually happen. Lots of stars in this one, didn't like Jude Law though...wtf was that accent! There's a bit when Gwyneth Paltrow is in hospital having the top of her head opened up....i was eating my spag bol at the time, nice. Compliance 6/10....Based on a true story about a prank caller who phones up a fast food restaurant in America pretending to be a police officer. He speaks to the manager telling them the young female member of staff has stolen a customers money. He then gives orders to the manager to keep this girl prisoner in the store room, strip search her and basically abuse her. It's a few hours before they realise it's a prank call. Quite difficult to watch to be honest. |

What Maisie Knew -fairly good, I enjoyed the awfulness and selfishness of the parents, making Maisie the plaything that was endless passed around between the adults. When the little girl that played Maisie grows up she should have a shop selling haunting looks!

You're Next 5/10. Bored me rigid.
Can't wait for Under the Skin, as it's one of my favourite books. I hope it's been done justice. Also looking forward to Insidious 2. |

^ You so do care. You get all worried when I fake cry. I may ring you tonight, just to hear your grovelling, when I pretend you've hurt my feelings. Bawahahaha.

Re: Rate the last film you watched (4)..
Insidious 2 - compared to the original it was cheesy, cheap-looking and almost totally style-less. The trailers may show an audience jumping out of their seats, but the only reaction it got from tonight's audience was laughter. And not always at the intentionally funny bits. 3/10

R.I.P.D - 3/10 - Terrible, rip off of MIB and just a load of crap... At least in my opinion..
Paranormal Activity 4 - 3.5/10 - Had to find something else to occupy the time as we nearly fell asleep and the ending is... Horrific! Lawless - 8/10 - Really good film, would recommend to anyone, especially if you like Tom Hardy. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1212450/ |

Nacho libre - 6/10 - some funny moments and i also enjoy the general awkwardness of this film. but too many stupid fart jokes. in fact 1 is too many.
Contagion - 8/10 - Overall i liked it but there were some things that confused me. and the direction and even the end credits were more like a TV drama than a film. i liked that though, it was interesting. And i loved Marion Cotilliard's hair |

What Maisie Knew - 8/10
What a heartbreaking film made me hate Julianne Moore even more and love Alexander Skarsgard oh so more than I already did if that's possible, I wanna swing on his arms too!! Girl who played Maisie was so adorable and not at all annoying. The Kings of Summer - 8/10 Great film, that had me smiling through out. Biaggio is seriously the coolest funniest character in a film ever He was amazing in every scene, also loved the dad too Had a good soundtrack too. This is the End - 9/10 Funniest film I've ever seen Oh my Danny Mcbride was the best, he was hilarious in every scene, Michael Cera too 'Freaks forever!!!' The Greats Gatsby - 8/10 Loved this, Leonardo DiCaprio is just wonderful Although the soundtrack is great, it really doesn't go with the film so its a little distracting. If anyone ever needs a drinking game they can just take shots whenever Gatsby says 'old sport' |

A Prophet - 7/10, loses points for being French, and it is definitely not a feel good film, it is about as far away from a feel good film as possible. 155 minutes of depression and darkness, but leaves you ultimately thankful that you're not in a French prison.
