I've got to admit i think i may have remembered things incorrectly. I thought it was just one kid going around pressing thumbs down until completion - for no reason whatsoever! Hence the popularity thing. Well, i did a youtube and Kevins version is the proper one :/

eesh i only ever played murder in the dark once, and on reflection it was at an age where it should no longer have been considered a game for mixed genders. during that game i realised that i must have, unbeknownst to myself, already eaten from Eden's Tree of Knowledge of Good and Privates

^^ I might be misremembering, but I think you sit in a circle and someone is chosen to be the detective. Someone else is secretly chosen to be the murderer. Then you turn off the lights and the murderer walks around the circle, and if they touch you on the shoulder you have to scream and pretend to die. Then the lights go back on and the detective has to work out who the murderer is... Somehow? I feel like I'm missing something somewhere though.

^ lol! I must have been a bit younger or stupider as I just remember enjoying faking elaborate death throes, though looking back the whole set up does all seem a bit odd!

my version involved a lot more...finding in the dark with hands. i'd never played the game before and never heard of it prior to my memorable debut 8|

Watching the island. It's so crap. Anything remotely dangerous happens and the safety team take them away to a hospital, real peril. Ppf.

I've been invited to my boyfriend's great aunt and uncle's wedding anniversary party and I'm trying to figure out what to wear. His family are pretty prim and proper. I'm anxious as hell about it so I'm probably focusing on what I'm gonna wear to take the edge off the real problems.

Wondering how long I can put off going into work this morning

I'm about 90% fine after yesterdays drugs...but frankly I can't be arsed!

Maybe I'll go in for lunch...

Sitting on the bus wondering if we'll make it home. It keeps jolting randomly, like it suddenly loses power.

Trying to come up with an outfit for a festival. Need layers because the weather could be sunny/windy/rainy/all of the above. Portaloo proof, easy off with minimal fuss for quick wee and doesn't touch anything i.e. The gross walls and floor. Need footwear that will survive mud and not be trashed, comfortable to stand all day in and also go with outfit. All while looking awesome and cool and fitting in with an alternative crowd but not looking like a 30 year old scene kid.

Just rang the DWP to ask if they had received and were processing my MR. Lady on the phone (who was v. helpful) could see nothing. So she had a look in the postal database and lo and behold my 2 letters have been sat there for the last couple of weeks. If I hadn't of phoned when would they have got round to acknowledging there existence and linking them to my case I wonder.

Doc Martens for footwear if you can afford them. They're amazingly comfy and go with anything.

^ My DMs hurt like hell. I've been trying to break them in for 3 years around the house with thick socks on and everytime I wear them out I end up limping home. They are black snakeskin ones, absolutely beautiful. Now shoved to the back of my wardrobe along with a pair of Kickers boots that do the same.

Edit: You've made me determined now. I'm going to stomp down to the allotment in my DMs. I've got 3 weeks to break them in. I can do this

eatin a friggin salad, at 10pm

i got thin sliced peppers, spinach, some onion, and carrot ribbons (love me some kitchen gadgets)

i make a dressing out of balsamic, mustard, garlic, salt, pepper. the mustard is particularly excellent at evacuating the sinuses, i'm hoping that one day a polystyrene ball will come out. i remember shoving one up my nose aged 4 and its never reappeared :/

I'm sat eating and reading in the canteen, the slightly terrifying woman who trained me just came over and said that if I ever want to sit with her and some other people from my team to just come over. I don't know how to feel because tbh I prefer a bit of a socialising respite on breaks, even when I get on with people well. But at the same time was a really kind thing of her to say and I hope she won't be offended that I'm still sat here on my tod writing this.

I've just got out the bath. A lovely bath in silence (except for birdsong). Was bliss.

Neighbour came back with his mate about 6.30 ish slammed the music on straightway. 3 mins later the volume went down, then 3 mins after that the music stopped. Could be coincidence but I suspect he opened his mail

It won't last of course but whilst it does i'm thoroughly enjoying it.
