Hehe, yeah a few of Mozza's albums weren't received well it seems. I was disapointed in Southpaw Grammar myself when I heard it, though I love 'The Teachers Are Afraid Of The Pupils'. Kill Uncle has probably the most consistently great track listing of all his albums IMO, but he's got alot of great albums.

Ah yes, 'Driving Your Girlfriend Home' is a great song.
I read an interesting theory on a song meaning site once about how it was linked story/lyrics-wise to The Smith's 'There Is A Light That Never Goes Out' (one of the greatest songs ever ).
It suggested the girlfriend in the song was the one sung about in 'There Is A Light...' , IIRC. It made some sense when reading it at the time.

Ha! I read the same theory. I had never thought of the lyrics in relation to that Smiths classic, but it does make sense on some level. We're getting a bit geeky by the look of it.

Ahhh, yeah I thought it made sense at the time, glad it wasn't just me then. Was an interesting theory, alot of things have been written about Mozza's lyrics and I wouldn't put most of them past the man's lyrical genius.

Lol yeah, I think we are straying towards the geeky side now maybe. Alas, I'd love to be able to come up with the sort of analysis of lyrics that site did, but it's not to be.
