Anthony Joshua vs Joseph Parker

These two are absolute beasts. Parker has the speed, probably the fastest heavyweight today, Joshua is a heavy hitter and he's a genetic freak. This is going to be a war.

I Can't call this one, there's legit arguments for either fighters.

The under card is quality to.

I'm a big boxing fan but won't be swelling the Sky coffers any further for the privilege of watching tonight's fight, so will follow using text and/or radio commentary instead.

It's hard to see past Joshua (in a literal sense too I would imagine!), but Parker does seem very confident.

I'd like to see Price realise some of his potential, but I'm not sure that he can beat Povetkin.

^ Yeah a lot thought Price had potential. Apparently he beat Tyson Fury before they went pro. If he loses tonight I think he has to accept that he just ain't all that.

I haven't seen any of Parker's fights but from what Joshua has been saying and the way he likes to box I believe he's aiming to take Parker out with heavy counters, so I think the fight could end as soon as Parker tries to be positive in his tactics and take the fight to Joshua (I don't think Parker has fought anyone who hits as hard as Joshua so he might not be able to take the shots).

True, that'll probably be AJ's game plan. But where Parker has never fought anyone who hits as hard as Joshua, Joshua has never fought anyone with the kind of speed as Parker. Should be interesting. Conflicting styles makes great fights.

^^ So true. I love the Rocky films so much, but he shouldn't be an inspiration to any boxers. He just gets hit in the face for 11 and a half rounds in every fight. He had zero defence.
