Re: Favourite Top Gear presenter
Apparently, they've had several different Stigs throughout the programme's life. I remember reading who one of them was but can't remember now.

Re: Favourite Top Gear presenter
Another James May vote here - he has a slighty bumbling style and seems a bit eccentric which I like whereas Clarkson is a bit of a show-off/bigmouth while Hammond is simply the young pretender. Having said that they all bring something to the programme and I consider them all important ingredients to the dish that is Top Gear.

Re: Favourite Top Gear presenter
For me it's Clarkson, yes he is an opinionated arse but you can't take him seriously and he cracks me up sometimes.
I like both Hammond and May equally. I must say after watching James May's 20th Century I have new found respect for him. I feel he gets a bit overshadowed by the more domineering personalities of Hammond and Clarkson. I used to like Vicki Butler-Henderson and her cheeky laugh when she was on it. Now she is on 5th gear with Tiff Needell who I also liked. As an aside does anyone remember the first series that Richard Hammond joined? He was the butt of every Clarkson joke and put down. He looked pretty uncomfortable a lot of the time. It wasn't nice to watch. I am glad he came through that and now gives as good as he gets. In fact now I'd say he often outwits Clarkson which is nice to see. |

Re: Favourite Top Gear presenter
I think the whole team have a really good rapport going on between them, but Jezza is the man, I love that he just doesn't give a s***.

Re: Favourite Top Gear presenter
I bloody love top gear, and also have to admit to fancying Richard Hammond, and sadly, finding Jeremy Clarkson strangely attractive on occasion!
Not found myself attracted to James May yet, but there's still time |

Re: Favourite Top Gear presenter
Clarkson's a natural TV presenter, Hammond's okay.
But I've always found James May to be one of those "How on earth did he get on TV!?" blokes. Probably stems from my first reaction when I saw him on the old top gear years and years ago - he seemed completely devoid of charisma or....well, just anything. And he needs a hair cut. Slightly off topic, but surely the worst man ever to appear on TV is fifth gear's Tom Ford? |

Re: Favourite Top Gear presenter
I never deliberatly turn on Top Gear but whenever it's on and I'm in the room I seem to find myself engrosed, purely for their joking around.
Anyway, it's all about the Hamster Although they're all great in their own way, really. |
