(hated it) Lived a great life after that and died 2-3 yrs back (now in mi back garden) Go cat go |

Re: Type What You're Thinking About Right Now (4)
I read once that they can run at 30 mph or so (domestic cats anyway). Pretty impressive, even if they can only do it in short bursts. No wonder big cats are at the top of the food chain wherever they live. They're the ultimate killing machines! Watched an ep. of Planet Earth yesterday and was astonished at how snow leopards (not true big cats, I know) can just scale up/down the mountainsides at ridiculous speeds without losing their grip/balance.

Cheetahs apparently just from a brief web search can do 70 mph, now it might beat some slow cars in a race I bet. |

watching Panorama now, it really doesn't feel nice hearing Adam, the mass murderer was quiet, not able to smile, scared around people. I know this is obvious but gosh although I'm also SA and barely smile I'm not a mass shooter, I'm just trying to get on with others.

Re: Type What You're Thinking About Right Now (4)
About things to add to the 'list' of things to discuss with landy regarding my 'concerns' towards housemates.
They played music til like half 3am last night. Aswell as being noisy throughout the day. (Effecting my study big time.) So phoned up landlady and arranged meet her tomorrow to raise some issues. Here is my list/notes so far,
They also got a bunny pet.. which I presume isnt allowed, but wtf I dont mind the bunny. (However I am concerned by fact they smoke around it..) - I dont expect things to actually change, rather my plan is more of a matter of 'raising my concerns' and then to report future offenses. (Like if they go ahead and flood the bathroom again. >.>) I fully expecting the music situation not to change at all. However I will tell landlady that I will be forced to play my own music very loudly to compensate if situation doesnt improve. I dont care what she thinks about that, because either they stop, or I fight fire with fire. Good news is, I have the strongest position and respect out of anyone in the house in regards to the landladys opinion, she would respect me enough to empathise, even if her response is she is powerless. So although she wont be able to actually 'do much' about it. (Unless she wants to evict them for the damage they done, which I doubt.) I am hoping she listens to my concerns and goes to my defense, maybe warn them. Even if she cant really stop it or do anything about it. Then I just be waiting to 'snitch' constantly whenever they take drugs or flood house/wtf. She might be able to raise the bar a bit in regards to giving them warnings towards being kicked out if they didnt behave themselves from this point forward. Anyway, I arranged to meet landlady face to face somewhere private, so thats what im thinking over right now. What needs to be discussed etc. She knows its semi serious for me to request it to not take place within the house as I dont want them to be around obviously as I discuss them. |

Re: Type What You're Thinking About Right Now (4)
Errrr.... First time this has happened but there suddenly loads of arguing in the house. Threatening each other call police. Banging around.
No sounds of anyone dying... Just really bad arguement. *Puts on the list* =s Bad timing to pick an argument of such a grand scale I must say. I hope they dont kill each other.... However I am 50/50 on my opinion that asmuch as as I have began to dislike them, I dont like hearing whoever that is who is upset and crying, while I also admit I dont mind that there is unrest with them either. (I know how it feels.) ..*Goes back to working on freaking maths related assignment with drama in background * Freaking chav house this has turned into. Just want to study man.. Now I stopped to write this post and got to listen to make sure they dont start physically fighting. (So gotta stop them or something? Lol idk..) They dont seem to be escalating it to that level though... |

Re: Type What You're Thinking About Right Now (4)
Why are we taught as if it's rude/wrong to be shy? It really doesn't help us to overcome shyness.
My sociology teacher is loud and bubbly, she says to certain pupils"you are not my favourite anymore"but in an informal, not serious way. I got a bad grade in sociology and she told me this but I was thinking I was never your favourite tbh cause we don't communicate well like other students do with her. The small just do it bags have been secondary school fashion forever, idk if it really is still high school fashion now but I still see kids wearing it. However no one inn college wears the "just do it"bag. But this, in a way kind of shows how being disruptive becomes less cool in college. But then I'm not sure if teens would act the same if they got some optional subjects to do like college students. Actually they are too young and immature to make good choices. |
