Valletta, Paris, Valencia, Majorca, Greece, Albania, Bruges, Salzburg, Amsterdam, Lake Garda, Barcelona.

Still a lot of places I would like to visit and got plenty of time to do so in the future. So all being well this list will grow.

Definatly have some memorable holidays in my childhood. I think I went to Spain once when I was very young, and to Lapland to see 'Father Christmas'. Went to Austria one Xmas (and I guess I could count a service station stop in Germany lol). Probably the best holiday of all time was to South Africa, where I visited lots of the western part of the country (and rode an Ostrich lol).

On a cruise a few years ago we visited Spain (Barcelona), Italy (Naples, Pompeii, Civitavecchia and Livorno) and France (Nice). Also been to France a few more times on school trips, and to Disneyland Paris.

This year I went to Malta with my university. I'm never going to forget that, had great fun there and SA was virtually non-existant! A fascinating country!

Don't think I can recall everywhere i've been in the UK, but i've visited (on holiday) Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, West Sussex, Kent, South Wales, the Lake District, Suffolk and Norfolk.

I'm not too bothered about travelling abroad again, but would be nice to visit Iceland and Canada (and possibly USA). I'd certainly wouldn't mind going to Malta again. Would also like to go to Scotland (Edinburgh or the West Coast).

I have only been to two places abroad so far - Majorca twice as a teenager and Iceland in 2009. I would love to get to more places in the future though. In particular, Canada and the Scandinavian and Baltic countries.

Places I would particularly like to visit in the near future:

Lake Annecy, France
Lucerne, Switzerland
Montreal or Vancouver
San Francisco
Norway or Sweden (in hopes of catching the Northern Lights).

I have been to quite a few places in the UK over the years. I actually have a desire to eventually visit all the major cities in the UK. So far i've been to Edinburgh, Glasgow, York, Norwich, London, Bristol, Cardiff, Swansea, Leeds, Nottingham, Lincoln, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham. I'd like to visit Newcastle and Durham by the end of the year. Brighton is one on the list of places to visit too. Apart from city breaks, I have visited the Lake District, Cotswolds and places like Matlock Bath in Derbyshire and pleasant countryside villages in Yorkshire.

I've lived in Essex, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Cornwall. I've travelled to France, Germany, U.S (twice - New York and Louisiana) and Scotland

Furthest I've been is Cornwall and that wasn't even a holiday - I was driving a van down there to help someone move house. Never been out of the country or on a plane.

People dismiss this copuntry i find when they talk of where they have been - i have benn to most of this country but still have much more to see - been abraod a good few times but not that much

Vallettas in Malta. I don't remember much about the place cos I was only around 6 or 7. But it counts. Ive never travelled alone as of yet. Some were with family but the majority have been with people off this site as we usually try and arrange at least one overseas meet a year.

England, scotland, wales, france, jordan, isreal/palestine and u.s.a. (Stayed 3 months u.s.a - No hands down my pants unfortunately =0 I was too young at the time to understand the 'opt-out' option.) Soon enough - Canada too.

I suggest chicago in u.s.a, lovely place to have a nap during the middle of the night without any lodgings. Grows hair on your chest and lovely locals.

I definatly recommend Malta. Thanks to a lack of sandy beaches, it isn't popular amongst typical 18-30s, so its not like Ibiza or Rhodes or anywhere like that which would be my idea of hell. I went last Easter, where the weather is a nice 20 degrees and the island isn't very busy as it isn't holiday season. Me and the other students were all in t-shirts, while the locals had jackets on which just shows that it gets much hotter in the summer!

Anyone interested in history would probably enjoy Malta, as it has noticable Roman, Arabic, Norman, Turkish and British influences.

Interesting fact about Malta- the religious Catholics pray to Allah. Simply because their language is Arabic.

I don't work for the malta tourist board btw.

Have also technically been to Malaysia, China and France if you include airport stopovers.

There's so many more places I want to go to though. New Zealand is probably next on my list, followed by Canada/USA, Europe and South East Asia. Just wish I had the money to visit them all!

Me too. I haven`t been anywhere for 10 years now as it`s not possible anymore. I`ve only been abroad once to Majorca 19 years ago. Other than that I`ve only been to Cornwall , Devon , Scotland and Wales. Only had 6 holidays in my adult life and no more than 14 or 15 maybe less in my whole life I`m 43.

France (so many times I can't remember exactly where other than obviously Paris), Spain, Italy, USA (Boston), Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Wight, Jersey, and various places all over England. I'd like to go to loads more places abroad though but that's when the issue of I have no one to go with comes up as I've only been abroad with my family. But I'm hopefully going to Finland this year for a friend's wedding, although admittedly that's not on my 'to visit' list aha.

I don't know I feel left behind when I talk to people at work. I've never been to Oceania, South America or the African continent. Only Iraq and Kuwait were army related. Can't imagine why I'd go there otherwise
