Yes i used to get them all the time but found that Salt n Vinegar crisps which i used to eat loads of were causing most of them... i've cut them out which i'm sad coz i love them and haven't had as many mouth ulcers since well i get them from time to time... luke warm salt water helps heal them i tend to rinse my mouth out a few times during the day and helps clear them up in a few days!!

Oh, and Ricky Wilson being on The Voice and being a huge Reality TV Star, as I have been a big Kaiser Chiefs fan since 2004 and feel he has sold out.
I don't get why he wanted that level of fame and being in everyone's living room every Saturday night. Why weren't you happy just being ; 'oh, there goes that bloke from the Kaiser Chiefs?!'

We fans are an Angry Mob indeed!

Yeah, those people (mainly my generation) who dismiss others as 'boring' for not liking drinking, clubbing or parties. Hate to say it, but from past experience, more often than not are people of my age group like that, I'm still yet to meet someone who properly respected my dislike of clubbing and parties, again, I think its another reason why I feel particularly SA around people of my age.

How I can't listen to Blur's 'The Universal' without thinking about British Gas! Do bands actually have any control over their songs being used in adverts? It ruins them.

I agree. I don't have much in common with many people my age either and would be much more comfortable around like-minded people.

I'm think they have to get permission to use peoples' songs in adverts. The band will also probably get paid for letting them use it.

^ Yep, there's no way British Gas would have been allowed to use that song without Blur's permission and paying them a reasonable amount I assume, and then of course there are artists out there who will usually refuse to allow their music to be used for advertising, and I'm pretty sure Radiohead is one of them.

Yep it's very annoying! What was worse was I couldn't play Portal 2 without thinking about Barclays.

Another annoying thing about living in a house share? I'm now listening to the delights of my housemate uh getting intimate with someone (which funnily enough I've never had to deal with before). My music is being turned up loud. *sigh* I can't wait until I can afford my own place.

I sometimes get that! It tends to happen for a whole week or so, and then stop for ages, and come back again. Not sure what that's about lol.

I find it annoying that I have a lot of acquaintances, but very little friends. I suppose I have 4 who I would count as friends. 2 of which I literally haven't seen or spoken to for about a year now, and the other 2 who are mostly either busy doing work or busy doing stuff with other friends.

The woman, who, in the shop today, to deter her sprog from touching everything, told them that I'd cut off her hands if she didn't keep them to herself.

Parenting's an unknown realm to me, but I'd venture that saying stuff like that to your child on a regular basis might not be the of best ideas. I wish I told her that too.

There should be a rule that anyone who complains about this place being depressing has to post a new positive/funny/uplifting thread. If it annoys them so much they should take action to change things rather than just complaining and making it worse!
