How many pillows do you sleep with?
to fill the empty void?
No, how many pillows do you sleep with to support your head? I have two, but slept with four when I was ill because I didn't want to be sick and choke. I'm going to try and buy one pillow. One pillow to rule them all. Apparently one pillow is best. Does sleeping position come into play as well? How many pillows do you sleep with? What's your main sleeping position? Thanks Good night

I am curious how someone manages to sleep with one, that's got to be one of those special branded memory foam pillows.

Just one. It's a foamy one, although instead of one piece of foam it's full of foamy beads that you can adjust by removing/adding them and I took a third of them out when I got it.
I've had the other type before and found them too firm. I often push the pillow up so that it rests vertically against the headboard so half the time it's actually 0.

I have a king size bed so I've always got 2 pillows on the go, (it looks funny with just one
 )I usually double them up so my head is well elevated at night, i used to suffer from sleep apnoea and I have bad tinnitus, i thought maybe less blood going to my head would aid sleep and lessen the tinnitus

I have one of those V-pillows on top of another pillow. It cradles my head nicely when I lay on my side and I tend to cuddle it a bit.
I told Jam about it once and he made fun of me for it. It's taken a lot of courage to post about it here.

I keep trying 1 over the years because you read how much nicer it is to keep your neck aligned with your back etc but it just feels wrong and it's really off putting to have my head that low when lying down. 2 pillows for life!
Although there's also a 3rd I use to support my top leg (as I sleep on my side). I think 2 pillows helps with the side sleeping too as it makes more room for my shoulder to fit under my head.

I hate lying down with my head flat so I always have 2 pillows. When I lay on my side I like to sandwich the arm nearest to the mattress in between the 2 pillows and under my head. Years ago while I was pregnant I suffered with terrible back pain and putting a pillow in between my knees helped a lot. I might start doing that again, not because I'm pregnant lol, but because I regularly experience symptoms of sciatica.

I have two on which to rest my pretty little head, and one for cuddling. I can't sleep without a pillow to cuddle
 I had one of those big V shaped pillows for a while, but it had a seam in the middle that poked into my neck, and when I snipped it the whole thing started falling apart. Thinking of maybe getting a fourth normal one to create a sort of pillow stone henge.
