Regularly!

tomatoes
chickpeas
black beans
kidney beans
all the beans!
tuna
sardines
sweetcorn (but I prefer corn on the cob so not that often)

I try not to get the ones in salty water.

I don't like tinned fruits though. Well, none of the ones I've tried - that is!

baked beans
occasionally refried beans, pineapple slices, that's about it (not all together, that would be disgusting)

I was wondering if there was a health issue behind this question?
I know there's evidence gathering now that processed, or more likely ultra-processed food intake has a detrimental effect on our health.

Obviously canned food isn't ideal I suppose?

I do like baked beans, and I tend to use canned tomatoes in soups and stews,
I quite like chickpeas too and often add kidney beans into my soups,

I guess they're probably not the worst examples of processed foods?

^not really, although the effect on health thing you mentioned is something to take into consideration, esp since recently i'm seeing myself relying more on certain canned food (specific tuna for salad and peach). it's the mercury in tuna is what's worrying me a little bit. i try not to eat more than 2 in a week, though.

Canned vegetables and fish are alright - they’re minimally processed foods and not considered ultra processed foods, so are still a healthy option. It’s more the soups, stews, pies in tins that are ultra processed with high salt content.

DON'T COME FOR MY BEANZ!

I would say it's quite often. I do like Heinz's tin of beans and spaghetti. You also can't go wrong with a tin of ASDA soup. Oh and I like Princes chunky vegetable curry as well. So there's a lot of tin action going on! Although if tin food didn't exist, then I would probably have to resort to foraging for plastic pot noodles to survive.

Not all that often since being diagnosed as diabetic but I do have Heinz soup, tinned salmon/mackerel and also red kidney beans/butter beans occasionally. I do miss baked beans on toast.

I usually have tinned red salmon a couple of times a week, or occasionally swap out one for some tuna. Sliced carrots in stews or cottage pie etc, very occasionally some soup in winter. Peaches in syrup are my go-to for a cheats fruit crumble, but that's once in a blue moon when I fancy custard.

Not that much tinned stuff now I think of it, probably way more packet (more processed) things

I have three types of tinned food in my cupboard: chopped tomatoes, kidney beans and baked beans. Sometimes, I'll use all three in a week (if I'm making chilli, for instance, I'll use kidney beans and tomatoes in the same meal), other times I may go a month without using my tin opener.

Nowt wrong with canned food.
Just pick the fruit in natural juice instead ones in sugar/syrup.
The mackerel in olive oil is a great way to get your omega3.
All the canned beans are great, but they they do use higher quality beans in jars than they do in tins.
And it all lasts forever, as long as the tins aren't dented ignore any expiry dates

Hey Chess, try the Aldi baked beans. Better & cheaper than heinz. If you don't like em, I'll buy you a coke
