The party I'm going to in about an hour.
It's for my 2 year old Grandson and only at their house but his mum's family are loud and there are loads of them so I'm dreading it.

Just try not to start any fights Azalea. We know what you're like when you've been drinking.

For some of us it's the best we've got at the moment though and communicating with people that you don't know what they look like or what their real personality is, is actually better than nothing at all and can't be doing any harm as long as we're all going to keep trying to improve and get out there and meet people in person eventually (which I'm promising myself I'll start on next year, changing jobs might be a good place to start, but without building confidence I don't really know if I'll be able to do this).

So sorry you feel that way..I'm sure you're a great person..you're just not feeling it.Sounds like you're putting too much pressure on yourself.No-one's perfect honey.I sometimes feel like I could just dive down a black hole and just pop up now and again.Christmas is very stressful and although I cba with it and hiding my true feelings,I have to just grin and bear it.Good excuse to get pissed though.Hope you feel better soon.x

I'm thinking how incredibly stupid it is of me to think that I can book a food delivery slot five days before Christmas and expect supermarkets to still have slots available

I thankfully remembered and booked my slot well In advance (though I could still only get the 21st). Guess obsessive worrying about everything has it's advantages after all....

You could say this is just depression speaking but I'm not even feeling low, just annoyed that being myself, being really shy is like a terrible thing and being super chatty is the way to go.
Lots of posts go by the wayside on this forum, I think it's due to the nature of the forum itself, it is a place for people with SA, so if everyone is like me then most posters will be reading posts and thinking they should reply but either can't think of anything to say or get nervous about the reply they think of and worry about how it would be received by the poster.

Highlight of my day was getting a smile from the foreign girl behind the counter at Costa. Not only is that quite pathetic it also makes me a living cliche.

This rosé is so gross. I'd better drink it fast and in large quantities.
I saw a bat by the train station earlier. It's the first time I've ever seen one flying about.

I found a fiver earlier stood in a queue. Quite an awkward moment. Maybe I would have asked people if they'd dropped it if I wasn't bothered about possibly drawing attention to myself. And theres no way I was gonna walk round the shop asking everyone if it was theirs. So I just kept stum and went about my buisness then left... Now what to spent it on?

Bicycles and the possibility of committing some kind of sartorial faux-pas during the day.
