Cup of tea or coffee in the morning?

I dont drink coffee so I have a cup of tea!! Couldnt be without it. How about you? What do you do first thing in.the morning?

Tea, I only drink coffee if I'm in a cafe.

In the summer, often a glass of irn-bru from the fridge instead of a hot drink.

Teaaaaa. Not straight away though because I get up at 6:30am and for me that's way too early for to eat or drink, so I'll have a cup of tea later on around 8am at work.

The first thing I do when I wake is to switch on the coffee machine, I can't function until I've had two cups of fresh black coffee (I can live with instant if I'm travelling, but that usually means I need a third cup). However, every couple of years or so, I follow a detox diet for a month and I'm able to function perfectly without coffee during that time.

I usually need a jump start in the morning. Whether it's from getting caffeine, sugar or just good old fashioned plain fun! But once that's happened, I'm good to go! Well, kind of.



I'm thinking about changing my coffee brand. As some members might know, I've been drinking NY sachet coffee for quite some time. But unfortunately, and I say this with a heavy heart, the boffins at NY sachet HQ have recently changed the ingredients. At first I thought I had a faulty sachet. Then I tried another sachet and this too tasted off. Then I tried another sachet, and lo and behold, that also didn't taste right. Anyway, to extend a short story long, the NY sachet box did say that they have changed the ingredients. So, yeah, that's life!

You make a very good point, Tubbs. That being said, it's fair to say that this isn't Genovese's first rodeo. There might have been a bit of friction in the beginning, but now it just glides in like butter!

I would love to quit caffeine altogether, but there are moments when I feel like I wouldn't be able to function without coffee.

Coffee for me. Not quite a fan of tea, though I do like a nice chamomile tea before going to bed (not that it works, which is why I’m posting on here when I should be asleep).

I never really drank coffee until a few years after uni. It does help me get myself awake ready for an incredibly exciting day of work. I’m not a morning person, so I need that jump-start or I’m not sure I would function.

There are so many members sniffing around lately that it's no wonder I took such drastic action in protecting his crown jewels!

I appreciate the cravings, but there are ways of going about these things!
