Re: What have you been doing today?
Went for a 6 mile walk in the countryside. The woodland Bluebells looked beautiful.
However, although I'm now aching all over I STILL can't get to sleep |

Re: What have you been doing today?
I made it to the bird of prey place. It's so nice tucked away behind a garden centre. Barely anyone here yet over 80 birds. The owner wandering about, lack of any commercialism. So nice and relaxed. Have stroked a tawny owl so far, gonna hang around for the afternoon owls I think.
So currently sitting eating my sarnies with a snowy owl on one side and a golden eagle hybrid on the other. |

^ That's stupid. The dog is clearly a pure breed. You're meant to put a cross in the box.
Moaning, procrastinating, dodging the new guy at work to avoid awkward newbie small talk. Same old. Quote:

Re: What have you been doing today?
^ Oh don't. I had to hold onto a wee at the course this morning as I didn't want to get up in front of a roomful of strangers. 2 big glasses of water and a mug of tea! In the end peeing took preference over sa and I went, only to return to find they'd announced a break in my absense #shit timing.

Re: What have you been doing today?
Went to visit my friend in Bognor this s'morning, didn't get home to well past 8pm. Sat on the seafront (bit brrr!) and had chips and an ice cream. Babysat whilst she had to go to a work meeting and played with the kids at hers afterwards. The eldest is never around but the 2nd eldest is exhausting! never stops, so it's a bit of a relief to come home. The twins who are 3 and 1/2 are adorable tho. The girl calls me Mooooooo (that's an exaggerated Mo not Moo!) no matter what and the boy calls me MoMo which makes me smile. He's a real cutie.

Re: What have you been doing today?
^ Out of interest. Do you have to have seen all the series of Line of duty to understand and appreciate the current series 5 episodes? Everyone keeps going on about it but i'm not sure I want to go all the way back to series 1.
I've never watched it. |

Re: What have you been doing today?
Well it was pouring the s'morn but decided to go to Chichester for a wander. Ended up going round the Roman Palace in Fishbourne. Better than sitting in I guess. It was lovely and empty/quiet then some school groups arrived at which point I took my leave

Re: What have you been doing today?
Went to Petworth House again as it's easy on the bus route and there's only one route running on a Sunday/bank holiday. Plus I can get in for free .
Didn't bother too much with the house - though had another look at some of the art collection, which is immense. The pleasure gardens were lovely though, worth going just for the walking. Last time it was bluebells and blossom this time many different coloured Rhododendrons and the like. |

Volunteered at family centre. Apparently the baby/toddler group I've been a part of for the last 2? 3? years is ending (w.sussex county council cuts ) so not sure if i'll be carrying on volunteering there or not :/
Didn't want to go home (neighbour) so went walking. |

Re: What have you been doing today?
Had a nice morning despite the weather which is frigging awful.
Did my cats (minus bandit who was put to sleep at the weekend ) and have somehow ended up taking on the tortoises now M is no longer there. So I gave 4 tortoises, 1 of which is 100 years old, a bath I strangely enjoyed it. Left them munching tomatoes. |

Re: What have you been doing today?
Bullshitting some responses to my experiences at the uni thus far. A true response would be something like this:
Q1. How have you found the course so far? 70% of the lectures would have been more efficiently delivered in written form where there is less scope for long, irrelevant digressions, imprecision, repetition and inadequate referencing. See The Open University. Instead I'm like, 'Oh it's great, hun. Don't take my scholarship away.' |
