Default Schizophrenia

I fell ill with it 6 years ago and now recovering quite well. Was to paranoid to leave the house at the start and used fake surnames thinking I was world infamous for a long time but back to normal now. Was quite funny when I look back but very scary at times.

Hi shaw88 my mum has paranoid schizophrenia she's had it since I was born (I'm 33) and perhaps before.its something I don't tend to tell people because of the stigma of it all but I don't care anymore mental health should be discussed.unfortunately I haven't seen any improvement over the years growing up I wished she was 'normal' and that we could do 'normal' mum and daughter things but it's never happened.my grandma brought me up so I saw her as more of a mother figure.dont know what to say but I'm glad you're recovering it must be a relief to you.
