'Pewter room ?
For people like me who dunno how to work em? Since there're a lot of knowledgeable folks here and we quite often need computer help, would it be worth having a dedicated room for IT advice, maybe as an offshoot of the garage? Just a thought...

Well, what we're thinking at the moment is that we don't need an extra forum specifically for computer-related issues, but we could maybe expand the scope of the Garage to include that sort of thing. How does that grab you?

I'd go with a separate board really, the Garage seems a little too specialised for that. If it were a subforum (or sister forum) of the lounge, people could post anything computer-related there (we get threads asking for software recommendations, or buying recommendations that would fit nicely there and not so much in the more "problem-focused" Garage.
