Default Do sunny days put you in a better mood?

I don't know why, but I always seem to be in a better and less anxious mood, when it's good weather, I don't particualrly enjoy hot weather, I just always seem to feel better when it's a bright day, does anyone else ever get this?

Yes, it always make me feel much brighter and happier seeing a bright blue sky. I love the warm weather and sunny days but I often feel more self conscious when out in bright sunny weather.

Went out for a bit of a walk and explore earlier, so yes. Have barely gone anywhere in the local area since I moved because it's been freezing out.

I'll just add that it does put me in a better mood in that I don't seem to be so brain dead, depersonalised and misanthropic as I usually am in my worst mood, don't seem to be so anxious or paranoid either, but on the other hand I feel like complete shit, because I should be out with people enjoying the good weather . That's sa for ya, nothing good can happen without some other shit lurking around the corner.

I like a bit of both in moderation. Depends on my mood if it improves my mood or not.

I certainly prefer it to be hotter on days I might go out to read. As its less comfortable being cold. However if im walking.. Doesnt matter that much as I warm myself as im walking.

I tend to feel a little happier and more positive when it is Sunny/summer overall. I dislike the winter in general though and i'm glad it's going to be light in the evenings in a few weeks, just makes everything a bit more bearable for me.

If I have no-one to go out with and do stuff with then they usually make me more depressed. But if I have something to do that day, whether it's work/socialising/whatever then yes they can give me a boost.

I quite enjoy the rain when I'm indoors, I find it calming and I like the sound of rain hitting my conservatory.

sunny day sweepin the clouds away
on my way to where the air is sweet..

occasional sunny days, like today, make me feel good. but constant sun and heat (summer) don't have the same effect, maybe i get desensitised or something lol. however winter kills my mood and energy, so i prefer the sun overall

edit: oh i love rain (when indoors)...i think i have subconsciously chosen top floor flats for this reason lol..

Ye there is that, if I'm bored at home on a weekend I feel like I'm not making the most of the weather and feel down.

Its weird - I love the morning and afternoon sunshine in my town, but as soon as it gets to dusk, the orangeness reminds me of memories from when I was younger and gets me glum. Sounds weird and cheesy, but it does.

On a similar note, I'd been living in a city for about 6 years, head down to the pavement...now that I'm living back in my hometown the night sky looks crazy bright. I can see satelites and planets. looks nice.
