Waiting for the time to call it a day and sleep. The only time I get any peace from life at the moment.

Took myself off for a drive. Felt quite emotionally reactive after r.fellowship call. Least driving has distracted me. Just a shame the sun won't come out to go walking. Dont feel inclined in the grey cloudy gloom.

Ended up going for a walk after all. Found a lovely glade of bluebells which were just on the turn, but still pretty. Must go back as there is a lovely arboretum. Plus black swans on the pond.

Made me feel better.

^We've just found out the breed of our cat, an Egyptian Mau. It's pretty cool looking at articles saying "they have these features" and us thinking "yep, tick, yep tick that one as well"

Eating cereal and listening to the birds sing outside my window, and roadworks from the other side of the house. It's quite the combination, surprised the birds haven't been scared off.

Recuperating. Work today seemed long and tedious. Think i'm over tired as well. Plus the heat in my flat is exhausting, can't open any of the windows.

Just walked to the shop and felt a bit wobbly but the walk back really started feeling anxious. Got to my building and just as I'd gone in I could hear one of the neighbours coming down the stairs. She was very nice but I was in supressing my panic mode ffs.
Wish I could stop it. Also rang the dr surgery seems they've mucked up my online access registration, so i have to go back in AGAIN with ID etc.. (3rd time) The woman on the phone wasn't especially helpful either. Too anxious to go today, will have to be tomorrow. So still can't get a repeat prescription

^^ Awww once my sister was looking out of her window and saw her cat in the widow of another person's flat. She'd climbed out, along the roof and jumped in his window.

They did not get on with each other so she had to wait for the cat to decide to come back home! I think she was there over night without him knowing!

I'm thinking about adding to the "Creating a SAUK Audio Episode" thread again. But it's been a while since I've added to that thread. And I've even started to view that thread as some kind of an opponent to me. Which I can't compete with right now. So I plan on building up the momentum for that thread. Such as working out for example. Not the physical kind of course. It's too warm for that! But more of a “in the mind” kind of workout. So if you hear a bit of heavy breathing, you know what's going on. Possibly?

^ That sounds healthy

@ Mo - You have my sympathies about having to keep the windows closed because of the cat. At the moment we can't open windows and doors willy nilly either since our poorly cat isn't allowed out. I don't know if you can get something that allows a window to be open but stops a cat from escaping but since most of them are Houdini's I wouldn't like to test it.

@ Biscuits That's a funny story about your sister's cat. It wasn't a naughty Toritie by any chance was it? She must have got the shock of her life when she saw her cat in the neighbours window

@Chess&Junkfood - Don't think about it, DO IT!

@indignant misanthrope - I hope your landlord gets back to you because you certainly shouldn't have to keep nagging him about the things in your flat that need fixing. This is a huge bug bear of mine, the way everyone these days has to be constantly chased up and continuously nagged until anything ever gets done. It absolutely does my head in

Right now, I'm contemplating making a cup of coffee to try and get myself out of this zombie like state I'm stuck in today.

^ Our windows have a sort of latch you can put them on so they're slightly open, but sort of locked in place. Do yours have anything like that? (It's only a small gap but I'm not certain a cat couldn't sneak through!)

Yeah I have looked at some stuff online, not sure though, he's quite the Houdini at the best of times!

How's your poor cat doing now? Is there any improvement?

I think I saw those on Amazon. Wasn't sure how good they were, they were white plastic so not sure how sturdy. I suppose I could give them a go (under supervision! lol)
