I wouldn't say it's so much a case of thinking yourself into a different person, but more thinking your way round (or indeed into) expressing or suppressing parts of yourself that are there to be used. But yeah, definitely possible i.m.e.

Essentially you're the same person IMO but parts of your personality can be developed like level of confidence, sense of humour, social skills, level of concentration etc these are all flexible
