Freespirit - that's a really cool song. What tuning is that in? Kind of reminds me of some instrumentals in O Brother Where Art Thou. And I've always enjoyed hearing you sing, it's a nice deep voice that's easy to listen to.
Thanks Raining.

Its in normal tuning.(except it may be a bit out) I dont really experiment with other tuning much. Also Im not sure what scale it is even. I just play whatever and hope I hit the right notes. That was one of them rare occasions when it worked.

P.s boo!! I was removing some videos from my youtube and accidentally removed the one I posted up there. silly boy me.

Just wanted to post here cos today I actually managed to write...and man, does it feel good. Been trying for a couple of months to no avail. Today I wrote a page and a half...good sh*t too. My personal creativity had dried up recently. I've written 3 novels and close to a hundred short stories, of varying quality. I began writing as a therapy really in my teens. For the last couple of years, I've been more interested in writing about characters, rather than my own issues. I'm back to the therapy thing now. I find that my creativity comes on like adrenaline really. I get an idea and HAVE to write. It's such an exciting feeling. Bloody depressing when I feel like writing and sit facing a blank page. Sorry to take up room, but it felt like such a release today. Interesting thread this with some intriguing comments.

Just wanted to post about a song I wrote a few hours ago. It's not really like anything I've done before as it's very guitar based and quiet. Any comments/feedback would be great :-) it's called Almost Feels Like Heaven.

Starlight reflects in your eyes and I
Feel no danger at all.
I am calm like the sea
I am still like a rose
I'm not religious at all
I don't believe in above
But when you hold me
It almost feels like heaven.

Moonlight, I watch you dance with the moonlight
While I'm coming down
I am calm like the wind
I am still like the stars
I'm not religious at all
I don't believe in above
But when you hold me
It almost feels like heaven.

A couple of drawings i did, quite a long time ago. I dont draw as much as i'd liked too. Time and laziness seem to get in the way!
