Just saying hello everyone
Hi, it's my first time here and I'm even anxious writing this. I'm 50 years old as suffer from social anxiety, feeling that I don't fit in anywhere and that what I have to say isn't interesting so I tend to isolate myself. I took to drinking to cope with this, to give me confidence but it became out of control and I ended up dependant and after detox I have been sober and in recovery for 2 years 3 months. Now though I'm back to the problem of having no confidence to get out socially. My boyfriend is very understanding which is helpful. I'm hoping this will help.
