Not long ago..... Mcdonalds Big tasty with bacon

If cows cant be bothered to evolve to not taste like delicious beef then I cant be bothered to not eat them. Squirrels did it, they taste rank, so I leave them well alone.

If god didnt want us to eat pigs he wouldnt have made them out of bacon.

Eggy bread.

Made with Burford Browns (because regular eggs just won't do).

I am waiting to see how bad this latest gout attack is going to be (lull before a probable storm) so all my food will be selected based on not making it worse (whilst also not effecting my blood pressure or blood sugar).

Jesus I take my eye off my bodies needs and health for just 30 little years and then suddenly, out of the blue food becomes about damage limitation

Apologies for the presentation I cant stand up properly, poaching an egg is a literal pain. Its chilled slow roasted cherry tomato and red pepper with poached eggs on wholemeal pittas. Add salmon and its the brunch of kings, unfortunately I cant have salmon.

^^^ 'share bag' is just a branding thing like a 'family' sized pizza or the '4 person' deals in a chinese. Ignore it.

^ They were nice, actually bordering on underdone but as long as there is no white thats still clear I reckon its acceptable. I see a lot of poached eggs in my near future so I think I will try the sieve method, it looks nice and easy. I just need somebody to bring me some more eggs

The late night roast is back albeit with many missing components.

I actually burnt the peas (didnt even know that was possible) due to a slight miscalculation of the time to get down the stairs after my alarm went off.

I am far too gastronomically satisfied to explain these components.

I dont know the difference but its either a crostini or a bruschetta. Apologies for the lack of picard content.

^ looks lush

I'm eating lambs liver. Haven't had scince I was a kid. My mum would make Liver and onions once a week.

I've done it slightly different : http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/26922...mushrooms.aspx with some pasta on the side.

I was a bit full of trepidation as I remember going off liver and hating it as a kid (probs cause my mother cooked it to death, lol). But I gotta say I'm quite impressed. The side sauce is pretty good too, I could eat that on it's own!

^ it was

my mum used to make liver and bacon, I would be made to sit up the table crying because I couldnt leave the table until I ate some or bed time. I chose bed time. It even managed to make bacon taste bad and thats a tough task.

HOWEVER, like you I suspect I may actually like it if I tried it now, luckily as its a gout trigger and I cant eat it now HURRAH !!

It always tasted so strong, is that normal or just the way my mum cooked it ?
