Just caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror.

Tomorrow's goal: don't put make up on in a dimly lit room. Cuh-ripes!

Currently telling myself to stop worrying and focus on what matters, stop acting like a gimp and face what I need to face in order to get where I want to go
.which means stop fanning around on here...

My mum cooks a shitty slimming world bolognese recipe. She is always taken aback when I tell her itís a shit recipe and tastes completely vile. Every. Time.

I canít be polite about it, itís a complete disgrace. Now Iím thinking about how to try and improve my portion. Iím going to try adding genuine bolognese sauce from a jar.

Why doesnít the stupid recipe have sauce from a jar anyway? Plenty of them have hardly any sugar now. Piece of shit recipe.

Slimming world are scam artists anyway. How can you have a diet recipe which includes a mountain of spaghetti?

GRRRRR

I'm starting to think that the worst thing about getting older is not that I am ageing but having to watch my parents ageing

^ Bingo

Exactly what I'm going through on a daily basis. I do occasionally think I may well be half way through my existence, I hope I'm not but I know plenty of people who died younger than that (even in my family)

But having parents in their mid 60's with shit health in the first place bugs me watching them getting weaker, hell they even got an email the other day saying someone they knew died at 55..great

Its something I struggle to accept

Snickers bars. Brown and chocolaty on the outside white and chewy on the inside with a hint of caramel. Let's not forget the nuts!

I need to get my arse to the kitchen pronto.

Figuring out why my energy levels have plummeted. In order to get shit done I need the energy levels to do it. I'm struggling to get out of bed in the morning, waking up late etc...

My diet and dehydration are the culprit. My pee is dark, I'm eating more junk and eating less often. ......Fix it nob head, FIX....IT.

A snickers bar for breakfast just will not do.

Is it weird that I don't hate criminals?

At the same time I know if a criminal did something to me I definitely wouldn't like them.

Is there really such thing as an evil human? Idk, I'm confused.

Yesterday watched a documentary Acid attack my story. For some reason I want to hear the criminals side of the story. On one hand I can definitely understand why she is hated, if that happened to a person I knew or me I would probably hate the acid attacker.

On the other hand hate never really fixes a criminal.

Idk why I am thinking this.

It sounds like the world needs more people like you. Obviously criminals should be punished, but just blanket "hating" them and saying they're "evil" doesn't fix the problem, as you say, or even understand it. That's newspaper-headline thinking.

I keep thinking about buying a new laptop, a Surface book pro maybe but they seem expensive, and I don't really want to spend more than £300, is it possible to get a relatively decent laptop for around that?

^Going to have to give it some thought, especially if I need an optical drive, quite a few laptops don't have one, perhaps its the price bracket I'm looking in.

I'm thinking why are they showing some films again which were on over the holiday. Look like I'll be watching the Thing again then.

A big problem with laptops and PCs is dust build up inside, the heatsinks get clogged over the years so they overheat. Can often be fixed with a can of compressed air

I don't think I'll ever know what went wrong with my old desktop, tried various things to get it to work and at times I thought I did. It just started freezing and locking, someone once said it could be bottlenecked.

^^ It's worth a go, better if you can take the back off to do it but not completely necessary. Youtube has loads of videos on it

^ A bottleneck is only a component in the system holding faster stuff back, wouldn't cause crashing/locking (unless it was REALLY crap I guess ). Often dodgy cheap PSUs are the culprit, they can damage other components

I broke up with my girlfriend and since I have had trouble sleeping. I'm worried that it might make me slip back into myself. I miss her a lot and I honestly don't know if I was controlling or not. At times I felt I couldn't speak my mind because she would withdraw affection. Everything changed a month or so ago when I suddenly became the enemy. She said I didn't listen and I know I could have more, I was listening but I guess I didn't hear. It always felt like no matter how happy I would try to make her it wasn't enough. I'm tired.

^Hope you overcome the cold/flu goes quickly

Its strange how the mind tries to talk you out of doing things, I'll see how I feel/think around 12ish.

Also the actor who played Worfs son in Star Trek TNG has died, only 33.

well done for trying to do whats right for you

Thank you Aireleebray. Sorry to hear that you have a similar situation. I would like to try once more also but because of her history ( abusive ex ) I honestly don't know if I was emotionally neglectful or abusive or if her behaviour was but if I was I have to fix those before I could possibly look at what she wanted and that's kids.

I thought if we lived together first it would help me decide if that was a future wanted that we could find our feet and see what happens. She wanted an iron clad promise and I couldn't agree.

At times I felt steamrollered into things to avoid arguments and that the compromises I made weren't respected. The more I tried to push back and assert myself on issues I was wrong. If I got angry or frustrated ( not at her but with situations ) she would tell me off for being angry about things.

I felt like I encouraged her to make friends and attend clubs but she saw my trust as disinterest. On the flip side she had issues with my friends and one girl from our group made her uncomfortable. I felt like she wanted me to stop spending time with her, I started dreading being alone with my friend despite her doing nothing and my reassuring my girlfriend I wouldn't betray her I got told the same answer. "I trust you but she makes me uncomfortable." While she never expressly said stop seeing her it was always hanging there like I should offer it to show my love. It's hard when you love someone but my friend told me something he saw online " don't set yourself on fire to keep your girlfriend warm "

Don't know much about the flu going round I hope it's nothing serious the last thing I need is zombies.
