How many years have been wasted being too scared to talk to people, 17 years.

Why is there not more awareness of mental health problems in schools, why didn't they teach about them in PHSE? I only wish I could have dealt with this problem in secondary school, CBT, counselling, life could have been so different.

Couldn't agree with you more CC. I think more support is given to those with outward behaviour problems who are seen as disruptive. The quiet ones at the back of the class aren't causing any trouble so they're not often picked up.

There was absolutely no mention of mental health in my school. But then again, I did go to one of the worst schools in the country.

It is a shame, I can't remember ever being taught about mental health problems...I never knew SA even existed when I was at school.
