Who does your ironing?

I do my own but my iron is rubbish as it is a cheap £5 one from Wilkinsons and doesn't iron very well

I can't remember the last time I've seen the bottom of my ironing box.

I have a good iron, but it doesn't get used much.

I mainly wear T Shirts, so it's not usually much of a problem.

I see little point in ironing most things I wear so I dont, though my mother will do it automatically if I don't get to the clothes first. I will iron shirts and my suit but I hardy wear them.

I remember reading a Donald Goines book in 1996/7, 'Never Die Alone' I think it was. One of the main characters 'irons' his trousers by placing them beneath his mattress before sleeping.

In the morning, et voila - perfectly flat (albeit cabbagey-smelling) trousers.

Handy tip, that, should you not own an iron.

I have actually known people who've done that in my youth

I do my own - it is very time consuming though. Work shirts would look a real mess without it, but apart from that I could probably scrape through not bothering.

We don't bother ironing here, I did attempt ironing jeans but it went abit wrong hehehe :embarass: Clothes seem to iron themselves eventually.

I guess if I was a social freak going out most nights I would do more.
