Started watching Seven Dwarves but got annoyed with the episode last week that was supposed to be about Laura but which ended up being more about Jamie and Max and Karen.
(Max and Karen ruined Laura's birthday party and made it all about them, IMAO).
This week's one is supposed to be about Ryan 'one of the shyer members of the group', which means that the extroverts will probably take over again.

I had to laugh at last week's Who Do You Think You Are?:

Robin Gibb: 'I come from a working class background and I like to think that success hasn't changed me. I'm still a down to Earth kind of guy'.

Cut to Robin's massive garden:

Voiceover: 'Robin lives in a converted medieval monastery in 20 acres of grounds'

Oh yes, very down to Earth, Robin!

Rant over...

Yeah, it looks like there'll be a next series. But I have to agree that it kind of dragged on a bit and the story could've been easily resolved in less episodes. I still enjoyed it though, excluding the totally unnecessary uhh... intimate scenes haha.

Prime Suspect US. Too early to tell but I like the fact that they're not attempting to ape the style of the original. Mario Bello is great and I love her trilby lol. Will definitely be watching more of this.

Made In Chelsea as research for the glamorous world of a Mills & Boon novel
The Simpsons I will never grow up enough to not enjoy that show
Embarrassing Bodies
Corrie although it's a bit naff
Loose Women the guests are not great but I like Carol McGiffin and Janet S.P, not Denise Welsh though she thinks she's Marilyn Monroe.

Hate X Factor for so many reasons, you can tell within 5 secs if someone is a good/bad yet they take ages to pass a verdict, it's all staged with the fake crying etc

I usually have the T.V on low or sound off while I'm working. I also like classic films, again for research.

Half heartedly sitting through season 3 of Breaking Bad. Really enjoyed the first series but it's lost my interest a little bit since then.

I normally try and keep on top of Derren Brown's work, since i think what he does is amazing :D, but this completely slipped under my radar!

"Derren Brown: The Assassin
Season 1 Episode 1 of 4
New series. The illusionist creates large-scale social experiments, some inspired by classic psychology tests, others concocted by Derren himself, to illustrate how easily people's behaviour can be manipulated. Packed with magic, suggestion and stunts, he explores what makes members of the public tick and how they react to different situations. In the Assassin, he investigates whether somebody could be hypnotised into killing a celebrity"

It starts this friday, C4, 9pm. Its a new 4 episode series each with a different large scale social experiment, should be interesting.

Really?!

Did he mean that C4 haven't committed to another series yet and it's up in the air, or that they've decided against a new series altogether?

It'll be a real shame if it's the latter. I really enjoyed Sirens, and the prospect of The Only Way is Essex and shows of that ilk being given a new series and Sirens being cancelled is seriously irritating. I realise that these 'reality' shows for some reason garner more ratings, but that shouldn't be what a show's longevity is based upon.

Screw ratings, people in this country wouldn't recognise quality if it bit them on the arse
