I'm living two different lives. I hold it together at work perfectly fine. The minute I leave, I'm back to being 'me' and all the miserableness and complete hopelessness returns. Maybe I should just live at work?

Your one of those people where work takes your mind off things.

I wish I could do that but if I work I'm just stressed and depressed all the time I'm there then spend all my free time feeling depressed and dreading going back.

Work life has always consumed me.

Well I say always but I did manage to cope and somewhat enjoy the job I had working where my old man worked.

I think there's a lot of younger people, but a lot of us older ones probably seem younger in our posts because we still haven't grown up!

For some reason, I feel that a lot of the younger folk on here come across as being older whereas the older folk often come across as younger so it kind of balances out. Not always though. There is an over 30's part of the forum though where you receive a welcome pack of a blanket, hot soup, bingo coupons and small section of sauk lawn so you can shout at the youngsters to get off it if you need to vent. I suggested it as a means of holding on to him I guess. Stupid really... It's a long distance relationship anyway so I really don't know what I was thinking. Odd.
Just got to my dads but my anxiety getting here has been surprising. Anxiety a bit where I live, walking into the village centre to get the bus and then once at my dads town I felt all ....odd. It just seemed busier than normal and I had to get stuff from the chemist which meant going into the centre which was bustling. Just felt disorientated and weird/overwhelmed. Have counselling later so maybe that'll help. But still it took me massively off guard.
