If its all you've got just now mate, i'd say jump in with what you've got. Do some sketches! Anything. Go for it......consider doing some rough sketches, maybe of what will be used as practice for a larger drawing/work?

I'm so tempted to try this...



Though I dont know if im capable. I guess I'll never know until I try. Rather than drawing it soley by eye..or even using a grid..I want to try drawing it using reference points and triangular measurements (using two pencils). The only problem being is I'll have to take the original measurements/angles from the computer screen..rather than a printed image (printer not set up). Also..it will probs just be a line drawing (no shading or very little) so dont know how it will look. It will be a practice of proportions, training the eye and line work...rather than shades, values, tones, contrast, etc.

Anyway yeah..im tempted to give it a go..until I have the proper pencils for lessons.
