When a post is deleted it will no longer be visible to the forum users unless it has been quoted, in which case the post will still be visible as a part of the other user's post.
Regards deleting threads, when the thread is deleted all the posts within the thread are also deleted.

I hope that makes sense

Hi Thousandmiles

When someone asks for a permanent ban they can log in but will not be able to access the forum - they will receive a message saying they have been banned and the reasons why. A person who has requested a ban can ask for this be to be put in place for 24, 48, 72 hours etc... or for a week/month etc... or indeed for it to be permanent. They can request to come back by emailing the site and we will lift the ban for them. People often change there minds after requesting a ban.
All types of ban mean you cannot post until the ban is lifted. A member can still access the site as a non logged in unregistered member but only view parts of the site and are unable to post.

Permanent ban's or shorter bans that have been issued by mods/admins won't be removed until the ban is spent or there are exceptional circumstances.

People ask for a PM or message for a multitude of reasons, sometimes for a ban, sometimes for something to be deleted or to ask a mod something.

We don't look at ppl logging in. We are not here 24 hours a day.

I did try to change it to caps but it just changes it straight back to lower case again.
