Sitting in the living area of the new place my parents are renting for a little while until they find a house in the area. I may want to stay here forever:

(Nope, I don't think I deserve the view either.)

Trying to work out whether things like 'I feel lucky to spend time with you' and 'I'm worried you're going to get bored of me' are just words with little more than instrumental purpose.

Does not compute with questionable self-esteem.

Trying to find a dress to wear to the Christmas party.

Something that says, "do not approach me" and something that I can also dance in.

I'm currently raging at Ideal Home because these paper tree decorations are anything but f**cling simple to make.

I had some news yesterday which was a bit of a wake up call for me so right now i'm kicking my arse into gear as i'm frustrated with myself.
Bought some much needed stuff
Scrubbed my dub
Attended a peer run event for over an hour
Attending another one this evening hopefully
Created two gif/animations (woop)
Going out tomorrow evening
And popping to inquire about volunteering on thursday. I'm not sure i'll have the energy to keep all this up but im gonna see how i go whilst i have the motivation and will hopefully keep my nerve

I just spent a good while browsing vegan chocolate treat recipes and have decided on Vegan Sweet Potato Brownies since I have most of the ingredients.

I also made some rice milk, which is not good.

Now I'm going on my rowing machine, then shower and sleep (well that was sad, only managed 4k, was coughing up mucus the whole time. Must be ill).

Watching the end of a Chanel 5 Christmas film with Jesse Metcalf (Pacey) and uploading photos of my puppy watching TV on to her instagram account.

My life's become fluff and nonsense

About to start my overtime shift working from home

I mean I've already done 10hrs at work today but...why not do a few more tonight (this is what happens when you have literally no life - at least I'm on overtime rate)

I had a good few years at that time too Normal high school was over, the people that bullied me in high school didn't move up to the 6th form, I liked studying A levels, worked weekends and holidays so had money to go out and had actual human friends to go out with.

*I mean that time as in the same age, not the same year. I can't even remember when I might have been 17, but it was a long time before the noughties

urh, careful with that, it sounds like you work quite enough already.

I'm drinking a latte and reading a good book.

^ I find myself in a bit of a situation where no one else can do my job who currently works for us and theres not really any available time for me to get someone in to help me/train them.

We are a manufacturing company of quite bespoke things so theres literally no one who could just "step in" without a good few weeks/months learning what/how we build stuff.

Kinda hoped it would have died down nearer xmas, it seems to be getting worse. I did another 4hrs last night and I'm not making any bloody headway

I've made it clear I will not be doing anything over the weekend...so I think now I'm about to have a damn nap

I'm still sick with a winter bug, so have spent the day vegging out watching shitty horror films.

Just half way through one when I get urge to visit my grumpy cat. I leave the living room and close the door behind me, I see her lurking at the bottom of the hall by the back bedroom where there's a light on, so go to switch the hall lights on. As I do, the light-fitting above my head lets out an almighty pop and all the lights in the flat trip leaving me in pitch black darkness.

If I didn't already know that there's a problem with that particular light, I think I may have shit myself inside out

18/19 were good years for me also. I was quite social then.

Think about going out on the bike, as it looks bright outside. However outside is cold and my bed is warm.

I hope that you have recovered from your winter bug and that your grumpy cat is starting to feel a bit less grumpy

I should try to put the Christmas tree and decorations up today although I'm the only one who wants to at least go through the motions of making the place look Christmassy plus the whole house needs cleaning from head to toe...
but instead, right now, I'm still in bed hibernating under the duvet and wishing I could stay there until the Spring

Did you get your tree up? I did ours mostly by myself too x

I'm enquiring about a silver jewellery making workshop. I have always wanted to make jewellery, I started a HNC in jewellery making once in Manchester which I did for about 2 weeks before my social anxiety got too overwhelming

I always feel guilty for going back to old interests that I feel like I've already tried and failed at, but this time I have the excuse that my son really wants to learn how to make jewellery too, so it's something we could both have a go at
