I was about 15, it was all quite innocent though (much to his annoyance lol) i didn't really like how everyone at school used to be obssessed with going out with people, i was really shy and so i wasn't into all that, plus i didn't really go out like they all seemed to do.

I was 24 when I had my first proper relationship but I did have a girlfriend of sorts at primary school when I was 9.

I was 18 it lasted for just over a year, but was followed by three short relationships so at that point I thought I'd come out of my shell and would continue to have girlfriends until getting married and having children. Turns out I was very wrong went for many years being single with several short term relationships till 8 years ago when i met the woman I had thought I would marry.

Unfortunately my SA screwed up that relationship just over a year ago and I've fallen apart in a big way since, and see no way of improving at this moment. I'm in therapy and that helps but the relief is short lived. Luckily the woman I've been out with over the years have made the first move as I am incapable, the thought of speaking to a woman I don't know fills me with dread. So now at 36 I am starting to believe that I'll never enter in to a normal loving relationship.

all this then makes me even worse, lol, it's some sort of mental vicious circle I can't see a way out of, what a nightmare. I sometimes fantasise about being put into a coma and woken up when they have a cure for me so I can live a normal life rather than just waste it as I am now

What defines a boyfriend/girlfriend though? I dated someone for around 6 weeks and only saw her at the weekends but never looked upon it as a committed and relationship because of my SA, complications and my lack of experience I ended it.

So, I'm now 35 and never had a girlfriend from one perspective.

20 when I got my first serious boyfriend and we went out for two years. I had no boyfriends at school cause I was such an outcast ha ha but had a few dates between when I was between the ages of 16 and 20 which didnt develop into anything.

i was around 6ish i think, not really a proper relationship because of age. some girl just announced one day that she was taking me for her boyfriend and kissed me on the cheek, ..i didn't really object to her about it so she took me for her boyfriend for a few weeks until she dumped me. i don't recall why
