Poll Issue
I know I've brought this up before, but I was just wondering if this can be changed:
When you try to create a new poll you first have to submit a thread, and then you have to create the poll. It's impossible to create a poll, check it first, and then post it. If you start making the poll then change your mind, the thread already exists and there's nothing you can do about it. The thread is created before the poll is added to it. When you're editing your poll, the thread already exists. This causes problems: 1) People can't change their minds at the last minute (which many SAers like to do) 2) People accidently don't include a poll when they meant to. Either the system messes up between creating the thread and adding a poll, or people click the wrong button. Can this actually be changed, or is this the only way it can be? |

Re: Poll Issue
Hmmm. Never mind then. Seems silly to me, why would they design it that way?

Re: Poll Issue
I didn't notice your second point... you can add a poll after you create a thread. Just click on 'thread tools' and then add a poll. This only works of course if you were the creator of the thread.
