Don't worry about people stealing an idea. If it's original, you will have to ram it down their throats.
- Howard Aiken

The direct use of force is such a poor solution to any problem, it is generally employed only by small children and large nations.

If I were two-faced, would I be wearing this one?

SALAD CREAM has been a traditional English salad dressing since the 18th century. Recipes exist for a dressing of cooked egg yolks, cream, vinegar, mustard powder, and olive oil in the receipt books of Dr William Kitchiner (1817) and Eliza Acton (1845). Jane Grigson states that Acton's recipe cannot be bettered and "nothing to be ashamed of at all" when compared with mayonnaise.
Bottled salad cream was promoted commercially by the H. J. HeinzCompany in 1925 and soon became popular. It was described by the famous chef Marco Pierre White as "one of the greatest culinary inventions of the 20th century".

When is the work commencing do you know Sid? Will be some big disruption. Was there the other day. It's such a busy station. Too busy for my liking. I Prefer Snow Hill myself - nice and quiet for the socially anxious. Although it could do with a revamp itself.

It's physically impossible to lick your elbow.

Your foot is the same length as the distance between your wrist and your elbow.

Bet you've just tried licking your elbow!

Why do they ahve to have monitors in Asda with the security cameras pointing down on the bald patch on my head - I had to shave the whole lot off again because I saw myself while wandereing about in their store.

And the camera does lie - there's no way I'm that fat. It was just the jacket I was wearing that made me look that fat. And probably any other jacket I choose to wear will have that effect on the Asda cameras.

I know its kinda old and manky but I like it as it is....it reminds me of the old Birmingham when I was a kid...the smell and such. I always feel slightly excited when I sit on the platform

Am i the only sad person who has noticed that in catalogues such as Argos, most of the clocks and watches are set at either 10.10 or 1.50?
I have noticed it in other catalogues too. Weird!
