I seem to be turning into the house mum. Just had to teach the housemate who is here so far about food hygiene and how to use the washing machine and tumble dryer. I have also taught him what couscous is and what chilli con carne is. He seems to be amazed that I can cook. He is doing a PhD o.O This could be an interesting year! Hopefully the other two housemates will have bit more of an idea. I am the only British national that is going to be living here though, so will probably have to do a lot of explaining of British customs, culture and stuff. Already been used for a few language lessons (including explaining what a bonnet is ).
