Hello, I'm new here looking for friends

Hello, I'm new here as the title says. I'm almost 20 and female. I have severe soaial anxiety since early childhood and i can't interact in person well at all, which has led to social isolation. I don't have friends and that makes me feel really lonesome and sometimes depressed. I've always wondered if there's someone else in the world who's also suffering from social anxiety and could possibly resonate with me on that or whose situation is similar to mine and looking for friends. I'm looking for someone (preferably around the same age, in their teens or twenties as I'm pretty childish)to talk to regularly about from casual daily chats to things each other like to personal strugglings like social anxiety and hopefully become close friends with. I'm not even sure how this works, but i hope you will send me a message so that we can start chatting and i could feel less lonely. Thank you for reading this post.

Welcome to the forum! Like Dougie was saying, there have been a few members who have joined recently and didn't need zimmer frames. As for the forum itself, you might have noticed that it does get quiet around here at times. That's because we are mostly an elderly forum and we do like our naps. Which reminds me:

^ Hey, less of the geriatrics ! There are posters in their 20s, and then a majority who are in their 30s and 40s and some who are older. The main thing is that everyone has struggled or is struggling with SA and understands what others are going through.
