Covers.
What are some of your favourite covers by musical artists of other musical artists?
This was a surprising one to me. |

Re: Covers.
OK this topic has just sent me down a bit of a musical rabbithole.
I was listening to the Venetian Snares Sabbath Dub remixes and then the Brownout "Brown Sabbath" funk covers. Both good reinventions if somewhat sacreligous to the original. CBA to post links right now. Later. |

Re: Covers.
Mum had a lot of John Denver cassettes when I was little, so I knew these versions before discovering the Beatles originals later on when I was older.
It's difficult to be objective about which is better when you have happy memories associated with specific recordings. But I love these. |

Re: Covers.
Not exactly a cover, but for Zeppelin fans it sounds very familiar and it rocks:

Yeah yeah, two beautiful women singing, give it time, it's good.. Makes you think how the Beatles may have sounded if there had been a female vocal sound. |
